Before booking, please make sure to read through my F.A.Q, my wedding page, and take a look at my portfolio to make sure I'm a good fit for you!
First, fill out my wedding inquiry form here. Once I receive your inquiry, I will reach out with more information about next steps, including a consultation, and get started on your custom proposal and mood board.
Once we have a proposal that’s relatively close to what you are looking for, we require a signed contract and 50% deposit to reserve my services for your event date. I’ll touch base about 45 - 60 days before your event to confirm the event details and make adjustments as needed, and you are welcome to make some changes up to 30 days before your event date.

6-8 months in advance is usually the sweet spot, but it depends on your floral needs and what stage you're at in your event planning! I require a minimum of 60 days notice for wedding orders.
Special event florals need to be ordered from a wholesaler minimum 1 month in advance, ideally earlier. The earlier your wedding order is booked, the sooner I can order the flowers, and the better chance I can guarantee certain blooms! Flower availability and pricing changes constantly, so booking early locks in your pricing and allows me to get first dibs on certain flowers from wholesalers.

Yes! Since I'm a studio-based florist, I will need a few weeks notice to special order the flowers. Please contact me with your inquiry and we can go from there!
Note that I take on a very limited number of styled shoots per year.

Flowers are grown all over the world! This industry is huge and magical but shipping in flowers from overseas is not exactly sustainable. I'm doing my part by choosing local Alberta-grown flower farms seasonally, as well as flowers from our neighbours in B.C. when possible.
As much as I would love to use 100% local product, that is not always an option for someone based in central Alberta! I think it's important for clients to know where flowers come from, so I aim to be transparent about the origins of the materials I use.

Aside from choosing locally-grown flowers when possible, I also avoid the use of floral foam. Floral foam is a non-biodegradable single-use plastic. For installations and arrangements I prefer to use things like chicken wire, moss, flower frogs/kenzan, waterpics, and/or newer biodegradable options such as Agrawool or Oshun pouches. I also encourage my clients to return containers and mechanics back to me so I can reuse them!
I also avoid dyed/bleached florals. Most dyed, painted or bleached materials are harmful to the environment and can make a previously biodegradable product no longer biodegradable. Dyed florals in particular are tricky to navigate, as the risk depends on the type of dye used. For weddings specifically, I avoid the use of dyed florals in bouquets due to the risk of staining hands or clothes.
Sustainability within floristry is a major issue, and I know that I will be constantly learning and unlearning over the course of my career.
